Cat Carriers
Pets must have adequate medical care, in order for this
to happen they must be taken to the vet. Veterinarians usually require
cats to come in a carrier to prevent altercations and loss. Carriers
are also needed if travel is required.
Cat carriers can be either soft walled or hard walled. Soft walled carriers
are more fashionable and look like large purses or diaper bags with
mesh windows for kitty to look out. Make sure the carrier still has
a supportive bottom and has a removable washable liner in case of accidents.
Hard walled carriers are made of easy to clean plastic and offer great
protection. Some hard walled carriers have an opening on the top which
is great for boisterous kitties. All carriers should have a seat belt
strap and should be airline approved. When shopping for a cat carrier
you can look at carriers for small dogs too, but make sure the carrier
is fully enclosed. Some small dog carriers have an opening for a dog
to stick their head out; this won’t work for a cat.
